Our investment in Entravia

Helps small businesses receive fast, accurate PEO quotes from multiple providers

We are excited to announce that Matchstick Ventures Fund IV has completed an investment in Entravia, a workflow platform modernizing the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) sales process. The PEO market has grown rapidly as more small and mid-sized businesses outsource HR, payroll, and benefits administration, yet the broker workflow remains largely unchanged. Today, brokers spend dozens of hours collecting documents, manually entering data into multiple carrier systems, normalizing inconsistent quotes, and building side-by-side comparisons in spreadsheets. Recent advances in document AI, combined with the rapid growth of the PEO ecosystem, have created the opportunity to replace this fragmented, manual process with a purpose-built software platform.

Entravia provides brokers with a white-labeled workflow that streamlines every step of the PEO placement process, from document collection and AI-powered intake through quote normalization and proposal generation. The platform automatically structures submission data, routes applications to participating PEOs, and converts disparate pricing formats into standardized side-by-side comparisons, allowing brokers to evaluate options quickly and transparently. Rather than charging brokers to use the platform, Entravia generates revenue through PEO partnerships, placement fees, and enterprise software, aligning incentives across both sides of the marketplace. By creating standardized workflows and accumulating proprietary normalized quote data across every transaction, Entravia is building infrastructure that becomes increasingly valuable as more brokers and PEOs participate.

Entravia is led by founder Kasey Devine, who spent more than a decade leading revenue inside the PEO industry and experienced these workflow challenges firsthand. He is joined by an experienced team with deep industry expertise, including leaders in sales, engineering, and operations, many of whom have founded brokerages or held senior roles within the PEO ecosystem. The team's combination of firsthand customer experience, industry relationships, and operational expertise gives Entravia a unique advantage in modernizing an industry that has relied on email and spreadsheets for decades. We're excited to support Entravia as it builds the operating system for PEO brokerage workflows and brings greater efficiency and transparency to one of the fastest-growing segments of the HR technology market.
